About this scheme

The Producer Organisation Scheme supports recognised Producer Organisations (POs) under the CMO Regulation (EU No 1379/2013) in implementing the Common Fisheries Policy and developing the seafood sector, under the EMFAF Operational Programme 2020-2027. The current call opened 29 July 2026 and closes 30 September 2026 at 5pm, addressing EMFAF objective 2.2 on marketing, quality, added value and processing of fisheries and aquaculture products. Nine measures are funded at a 75% support rate, each with its own annual maximum aid amount ranging from €10,000 to €80,000 (with capital costs capped over the EMFAF programme's lifetime rather than annually). Pre-financing is available to newly formed POs recognised since 2021. Applicants should consult the Guidelines for Applicants and apply online via the BIM Grants Portal; the form works on all devices though desktop/laptop is recommended. Technical queries go to BIM's Grants Management System helpdesk.
