About this scheme
Energy Monitoring and Tracking Systems (EM&T) is funded under Enterprise Ireland's Enterprise Emissions Reduction Investment Fund, which supports companies to put in place energy monitoring and tracking systems to begin accounting for the carbon footprint of their activities. The fund operates under the Green Transition Fund, part of Ireland's National Recovery and Resilience Plan, funded by the EU, with the overall objective of accelerating the decarbonisation of Irish enterprise. It can be used for hardware for new metering systems (e.g. electricity, gas, diesel, oil, water, steam meters and loggers) and reasonable installation/commissioning costs; software subscription, support and maintenance costs are not eligible. It is aimed at manufacturing clients of Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland or Údarás na Gaeltachta with 10 or more full-time employees in Ireland and at least 5 years of sales history. It provides up to €50,000, covering 50% of eligible costs, with eligible expenditure ranging from €10,000 to €100,000, and a minimum grant aid of €5,000, on a de minimis State Aid basis.
