About this scheme
Innowwide is a market feasibility programme supported by the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs, giving innovative SMEs a valuable opportunity to explore international market conditions with the aim of fostering growth, innovation and increasing operations globally; EUREKA organises Innowwide calls for proposals periodically. It is aimed at innovative SMEs based in Ireland, helping test the technical, commercial, legal and socio-economic feasibility of their commercial ambitions in international markets. Applicants select a target region and country in Africa, the Americas, Asia or Oceania and identify a local counterpart, which facilitates more effective and efficient entry into new markets. Over a six-month period, applicants can conduct market feasibility studies for innovative projects or solutions and work with local experts in the selected target country, de-risking their commercialisation track and creating favourable conditions to increase uptake of their innovative solution in foreign markets. It provides a grant of €60,000 (a 70% grant rate) to conduct eligible market research activities, based on a minimum project spend of €86,000, and allows subcontracting to the partner in the selected target country.
