About this scheme

The Green Plus Grant is one element of IDA Ireland's 'Go Green' offer, which supports client companies in exploring sustainability initiatives while keeping their business competitive internationally. IDA support covers 50% of the cost, up to a maximum total value of €60,000. It is aimed at companies undertaking a more extensive sustainability review that requires a greater amount of employee and consultant time than a standard assessment. The grant can help fund activities such as assessing CO2 emissions, identifying cost savings, improving water sustainability, measuring a product's environmental footprint, designing circular business models, implementing recyclable packaging, and exploring sustainable logistics. The Green Plus Grant sits alongside IDA's Client Decarbonisation Support, which offers capital grants for larger renewable energy and energy efficiency projects once a company has submitted a Climate Action Plan. To find out more or apply, companies should contact their IDA Project Executive to set up a call.
