About this scheme

The Feasibility Grant funds research into the market demand and technical viability of a new product or service before a promoter commits to full development or launch, covering up to €15,000 (50% of investment, or 60% in the Border, Midland & Western region). Support covers consultancy (including specific expertise hired from third-level colleges or private specialists), market research, technical development, prototyping, innovation activity, and related salary/own-labour research and miscellaneous costs. As with other LEO financial supports, priority goes to enterprises with potential to graduate to Enterprise Ireland or expand into export markets, while domestically focused retail, personal services, professional services, construction, and certain other sectors and activities are excluded. Larger awards require Enterprise Ireland approval, and no project expenditure may be incurred before the application is submitted.
