About this scheme

The Market Research Grant, part of Údarás na Gaeltachta's Market Development Supports, helps companies close knowledge gaps about a target market and its trading conditions. Eligible costs include consultancy, assessing tariff impact and supply chain vulnerabilities, researching barriers to entry, sizing addressable markets, reviewing competitor and supplier landscapes, comparative pricing research, and the purchase of market research reports. The grant covers 50% of eligible costs up to a maximum of €35,000, paid on receipt of a valid claim supported by documentation confirming that all grant conditions were met and approved expenditure was paid.
